No, you do not need to consume cannabis. This event is a BYOC event, but it is totally optional. 

We currently have a paint sesh every Saturday at 7pm. If that books up we will open a second time that same day.

Please reach out if you do not see the day/time that you want, and we can try our best to accommodate to you if you have a group of 6 or more.

No worries at all. We offer a completely judgement free atmosphere where there is no such thing as a mistake or "bad" painting skills. Painting is a creative expression, there is no right or wrong. Don't try to replicate the painting you choose to the smallest detail. We encourage you use our paintings and instruction as a guide to make your own individual piece of art. 

$50 per person. 

You must be 21+ to attend a class. I.D. verification is checked in person upon arrival. 

No I.D. is not allowed. 

Yes, you absolutely can attend an art class as long as you are 21 or older and must verify with your valid state issued ID.

We are located in East Dubuque, IL. Our studio location, directions, and what to expect will all be included in your booking confirmation email (scroll down below your receipt). If you didn’t receive the email, please don’t hesitate to call us at 563-281-4744.

The Stoned Painter offers a variety of painting events, including events, private events, corporate events, and fundraisers. We currently service events in the Tri-State area. Currently, we cannot include cannabis use at any events outside of your private residence. Public events are always cannabis free, they can be paint and sip though. We have paint alongs available as well as mini art stations, where we would come set 6 different art stations where you can create a Pinterest Inspired craft in roughly 15-20 min.

No earlier than 5-10 minutes prior to time of class start is preferred. If you need to come earlier, please let us know, in case we are in a class.

Each booking includes all of the necessary painting supplies (canvas, brushes, paints), as well as instruction from a  friendly artist. We also provide aprons to protect your clothing and a fun and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy your painting experience. Snacks and waters are complimentary. Chill tunes to make an entire vibe to get your creative juices flowing.

If you have an occasion and you would like a private paint sesh, give us a call and we can iron out the details together for the best solution - whether you have a different location, painting ideas, or just have a question we will be happy to take your call!

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little paint on.

Yes, we offer private events for groups of 6-12. We can work with you to create a custom painting for your group and can also provide catering options upon request.

Yes, we offer gift cards that can be used to attend any of our events. They make a great gift for birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions.

Yes, for private events, you can choose from our selection of paintings or even request a custom painting for your event.

No painting experience is necessary! Our instructors will guide you through the process step-by-step, so even beginners can create a beautiful painting. Ask us about our pre drawn canvases (outline of design is drawn onto canvas prior to painting) before the day of your class. Don’t be shy, so many people choose this option!

Our events can accommodate groups of up to 12 people, depending on the location and type of event. Need more space, call and ask us about our other location options!
